    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the existing rule is to establish meta-major academic pathways, which are collections of academic programs with common or related content. The amendment will incorporate three mathematics pathways, as required by section 1007.23, F.S., and align programs with the three mathematics pathways and existing meta-majors. The amendment will also provide guidance to institutions regarding implementation of the three mathematics pathways and incorporate by reference the Mathematics Pathways to Programs of Study List.
