    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the FLORIDA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by the City of Vero Beach on December 19, 2014. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

    The agency issued a declaratory statement that the City of Vero Beach has the right and obligation to continue to provide retail electric service in the territory described in its Commission-approved territorial agreement orders upon expiration of the franchise agreement between the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, and the City of Vero Beach. Final Order No. PSC-15-0102-DS-EM was issued and filed on February 12, 2015, in Docket No. 140244-EM.
