    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Six, has scheduled an Alternatives Public Workshop to discuss the PD&E Study along SR 25/Okeechobee Road and SR 826/Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade County. The study will focus on improving traffic operations and safety conditions along SR 25/Okeechobee Road at the interchange with SR 826/Palmetto Expressway, by improving the mobility and connectivity between these two corridors.

    The Alternatives Public Workshop is being held to present the results of the PD&E Study to date and to obtain input on the alternatives under consideration. The workshop will be held in an informal, open house format with a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m. Notices are being sent to all property owners and tenants located within at least 300 feet on either side of the proposed alignment and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in the project. Enclosed is a copy of the display notice for the Alternatives Public Workshop.

    The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
