    Project Description: Goldsboro Community Gateway Improvements (formerly known as Sanford Amtrak Auto Train Gateway Improvements) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in Seminole County, Florida.

    A second alternatives public meeting was held for this study on October 21, 2014. As a result of comments from that meeting, as well as from the general public, local officials and agencies, a preferred alternative has been selected and will be presented at the hearing. A court reporter will be present to record a formal transcript of the hearing. Study limits are bordered by Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard on the west; State Road (SR) 46 (First Street) on the north; Pecan Avenue on the east, and McCracken Road on the south. Attendees will be given a final opportunity to comment on the social, economic, and environmental impacts of the study. Study documents will be available for public review from February 3, 2015 through March 6, 2015 at the following locations: Westside Community Center, S. 919 Persimmon Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday-Friday; Seminole County Library, North Branch, 150 N. Palmetto Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and the FDOT District Five Office, 719 S. Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, Florida 32720.
