    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Department creates this rule chapter to implement Section 380.093, F.S., relating to the Statewide Flooding and Sea Level Rise Resilience Plan and evaluation criteria for projects proposed for state funding through such. Entities for which this rule is relevant consist of coastal and inland communities, including counties, municipalities, water management districts, flood control districts, and regional resilience entities.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The subject matters addressed by the rule include project scoring criteria considering sea level rise, flooding, infrastructure capabilities, planning, vulnerability, and resilience related to the Department’s development of the Statewide Flooding and Sea Level Rise Resilience Plan required by Section 380.093, F.S.
