GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Financial Management No.: 429569-5-52-02. Project Description: State Road (SR) 816/Oakland Park Boulevard Mobility Improvement Project, from NW 136th Avenue to North Atlantic Boulevard, in Broward County, Florida. The project improvements in the cities of Sunrise, Lauderhill and Fort Lauderdale consist of widening the roadway to accommodate bike lanes, milling and resurfacing, providing shared lanes (sharrows) and adding signage and pavement markings. Other improvements include installing traffic signal priority from NW 136th Avenue to Pine Island Road, new drainage structures, sidewalks, and ADA upgrades to curb ramps. Construction begins in February 2020 and is estimated to be completed in Fall 2021.
