NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Accountancy has received an Amended Petition for Declaratory Statement from Jonathan D. Marseglia, C.P.A., filed on February 3, 2020. The amended petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of paragraph 473.309(1)(b), F.S. as it applies to the petitioner.
Petitioner inquires whether a firm offers employees a profit interest that exceeds 49% of the company’s profits, without any equity right, comply with the paragraph 479.309(1)(b), F.S. And petitioner inquires whether a firm issued a salary bonus at the end of the year that exceeded 49% of the profits, would comply with paragraph 479.309(1)(b), F.S.
Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
