The Board of Medicine hereby gives notice that on February 19, 2014, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance. The Petition for Waiver or Variance was filed Dina Moshe, E.O., on December 5, 2013, seeking a waiver from Rule 64B8-51.002, F.A.C., with regard to the educational requirement for licensure as an electrologist. The Notice was published in Vol. 39, No. 239, of the Florida Administrative Register, on December 11, 2013. The Board, at its meeting held on February 7, 2014, voted to grant the Petition for Waiver or Variance finding that the Petitioner demonstrated a substantial hardship; that application of the rule would violate the principles of fairness; and that the purpose of the underlying statute has been met.
