    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, will hold a public meeting to discuss the operational analysis study for State Road (SR) 865 (San Carlos Boulevard) from south of Estero Boulevard to County Road (CR) 869 (Summerlin Road), approximately 3.1 miles, in Lee County. Financial Project ID No. 433726-1-22-01. The purpose of the meeting is to present the potential improvements identified and to obtain comments so that the Department can determine those improvements to move forward to the next phase of development. FDOT began this operational analysis study in 2015 and is tentatively scheduled to complete the study in spring 2018. Since beginning the study, FDOT has been conducting analyses, meeting with stakeholders, and identifying potential improvements to address the operational deficiencies. The study team has incorporated input received to date from agencies, public officials, and the general public where feasible. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
