    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: March 5, 2019, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET

    PLACE: Steinhatchee Community Center, 1013 Riverside Dr., Steinhatchee, Florida 32359

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is holding a public workshop to gather public input about long-term management of the bay scallop fishery. Staff will provide a brief presentation on the current status of the fishery and a recent proposal to create long-term season structure changes. Staff will also gather feedback on the public’s management desires. All stakeholders interested in bay scallop management are encouraged to attend.
