Notice of Emergency Action
On February 19, 2019, the State Surgeon General issued an Order of Emergency Restriction with regard to the license of Jennifer Lauren Smith, L.M.H.C., License # LMHC 15977. This Emergency Restriction Order was predicated upon the State Surgeon General’s findings of an immediate and serious danger to the public health, safety and welfare pursuant to subsections 456.073(8) and 120.60(6) Florida Statutes (2018). The State Surgeon General determined that this summary procedure was fair under the circumstances, in that there was no other method available to adequately protect the public.
