NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 16, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Icon at USF at 12708 Bruce B Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 2.15.9.2, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), F.A.C., that requires the platform guard plate be no less than 48” which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
