    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 16, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Commander Apartments at 3946 St Johns Ave., Jacksonville, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, 2009, Section 2.7.4.1, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), F.A.C., that requires headroom in the machine room be no less than 7’ which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
