Notice is hereby given that the Board of Medicine has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed on behalf of Richard L. Henry, M.D., on February 20, 2017. The Petitioner seeks a declaratory statement from the Board with regard to whether it is permissible for an anesthesiologist assistant to carry out procedures requested by the supervising anesthesiologist, including epidural anesthetic procedures and spinal epidural procedures, pursuant to Section 458.3475, Florida Statutes. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting currently scheduled for Friday, April 7, 2017. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
