    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from City of Port St. Lucie on February 5, 2016. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of 489.113(2) and 489.117(4)(d), FS., as it applies to the petitioner.

    The Petitioner seeks a declaratory statement as to whether 489.113(2), FS., would apply to residential properties when a local construction licensing ordinance requires licensure to work in the business or occupation of contractor as opposed to 489.117(4)(d), FS. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
