    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose and effect of the proposed rule will be to implement and interpret Florida Statutes that relate to rules regulating the conduct of slot machine operations at pari-mutuel racing facilities.
    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The subject areas to be addressed in this rule are: the method of applying for a slot machine license, technical requirements and qualifications for licenses, procedures to test and technically evaluate slot machines, verifying and accounting for revenues, auditing, collection of taxes and fees, procedures for bond, procedures regarding maintenance of records, 85% minimum payout, minimum security standards, approval process for facilities based computer systems, monthly reports, occupational licensing, renewal of occupational licenses, occupational license fees, fingerprint rules, posting of signage, office space requirements, the compulsive gambling program, the impact of slot machines on cardroom operations, or any other rules required for the implementation of Chapter 551, Florida Statutes.
