The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, March 10, 2020, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
PLACE: Ocoee Lakeshore Center, 125 North Lakeshore Drive, Ocoee, FL 34761.
If the open house cannot be held on March 10, 2020, due to severe weather or unforeseen conditions, it will be held on the alternate date of April 2, 2020 at the same time and place.
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This Public Kickoff Open House will be conducted as an informal open house for the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) widening from south of SR 408 to SR 50 (Milepost 263 to 273), Financial Project Identification Number: 444007-1. As part of the study, all interchanges within the project limits and the need for new interchanges will be evaluated.
This Open House will give interested persons an opportunity to review preliminary project information, provide written comments and speak with project staff on a one-on-one basis. Exhibits that describe the PD&E Study process, study area and need for the proposed improvements will be on display, along with an informational video. Please note there will be no formal presentation.
If you cannot attend in person, please visit the study website at www.Turnpike408to50.com, starting on March 10, 2020, to view an online version of the Open House and to provide comments. This online version will be accessible anywhere, anytime, and will provide the same information as the in-person open house.
