SUMMARY: This emergency rule sets forth the provisions for the reduction in the number of CASH 3™ drawings available for purchase starting March 2, 2015, and continuing through March 15, 2015.

THE FULL TEXT OF THE EMERGENCY RULE IS:

 

53ER15-14 CASH 3™ Advance Play.

(1) In preparation for the March 16, 2015, enhancement of the Florida Lottery CASH 3™ online terminal game, a CASH 3 advance play Countdown will be implemented. Beginning after the CASH 3 close of game for the evening drawing on March 2, 2015, and continuing through close of game for the evening drawing on March 15, 2015, (“Countdown Period”) the number of future CASH 3 drawings available for purchase will be reduced. The number of available days for both the mid-day and evening drawings will be reduced from fourteen to one for all CASH 3 play types in accordance with the table set forth below. Each advance play reduction will be effective on the Lottery’s gaming system after the game close for each CASH 3 mid-day and evening drawing occurring during the Countdown period.

*After the close of game for the mid-day drawing on March 15, 2015, sales for the CASH 3 1-OFF® play type will be available for purchase for the evening drawing on March 15, 2015. After the close of game for the evening drawing on March 15, 2015, sales for the CASH 3 1-OFF® play type will not be available for purchase for the mid-day and evening drawings on March 16, 2015. All other CASH 3 play types will be available for purchase on March 15, 2015, for the mid-day and evening drawings on March 15, 2015, and March 16, 2015. On March 16, 2015, fourteen-day CASH 3 advance play for all CASH 3 play types, including the enhanced CASH 3 1-OFF play type, will be available for purchase.

(2) Except as specifically provided in this emergency rule, all other advance play provisions set forth in paragraph (1)(f) of Emergency Rule 53ER12-22, CASH 3™, shall remain in effect.
