The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a public hearing concerning the Project Development and Environment Study for the Gulf Coast Parkway, which would provide a connection between U.S. 98 in Gulf County with U.S. 231 (north of Panama City) and U.S. 98 in Bay County. The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. in an open house format, with a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period. The hearing is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the modified design alternative, conceptual design, and social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed project.
Maps, drawings, and additional information will be available for review. Representatives from FDOT will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by FHWA and FDOT.
