The Department of Environmental Protection announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: Thursday, March 8, 2018, 1:00 p.m.
PLACE: Public Works West Altamonte Operations Facility (Lake Lotus Training Room), 950 Calabria Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This is a Wekiva River, Rock Springs Run, and Little Wekiva Canal Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP) technical meeting to which the public is invited. The afternoon will start with a meeting of the Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems (OSTDS) Advisory Committee associated with the Wekiva BMAP to discuss the OSTDS Remediation Plan. Following the conclusion of the Advisory Committee Meeting and a small break, a meeting to discuss policies and management strategies for all other nitrogen sources in the basin will be held. Everyone is welcome to attend both meetings.
