    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Closed door attorney-client session pursuant to Section 286.011(8)(2008), Florida Statutes, to discuss strategy related to litigation expenditures and/or settlement negotiations in New Hope Sugar Company and Okeelanta Corporation v. South Florida Water Management District, Amended Petition for Administrative Hearing filed February 12, 2009. The subject matter shall be confined to the pending litigation. (All or part of this meeting may be conducted as a teleconference in order to permit maximum participation of Governing Board members).

    Pursuant to Florida Law, the entire attorney-client session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter. No portion of the session shall be off the record. A copy of the transcript will be made part of the public record at the conclusion of the litigation.
