NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 20, 2014, the Board of Optometry received a petition for waiver or variance filed by State University of New York College of Optometry, from paragraph 64B13-5.002(3)(c), F.A.C., with regard to approval of transcript quality continuing education programs. Specifically, the Petitioner requests a one-time variance/waiver of the rule’s requirement that a continuing education program be approved as transcript-quality coursework prior to the course being offered This permanent waiver/variance is requested for the five courses.
