    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, March 7, 2019, the hearing will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m. with a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. CT, followed by a public comment period.

    PLACE: Warriors Hall, 201 Stillwell Avenue, Crestview

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The project will conduct an Interchange Justification Report and Project Development and Environment Study for a new interchange on Interstate 10 (I-10) at County Road 4 (Antioch Road) in Okaloosa County. The intent of this study is to provide additional access to I-10 in conjunction with the planned Crestview Bypass, improving accessibility for the surrounding community with consideration of all modes of transportation.

    Maps, drawings and other information will be on display at the hearing. Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) representatives will be available to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.

    Draft project documents and other information depicting the proposed improvements will be available for public review on the project website (nwflroads.com) and during regular business hours from February 14, 2019, until March 18, 2019, at the following locations:

    • Crestview City Hall, 198 North Wilson Street, Crestview

    Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

    The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
