NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 23, 2024, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for World Equestrian Center Extended Lodging at 1615 NW 81st Terr. Rd., Ocala, FL 34482. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, 2016 Edition, Section 2.8.1, as adopted by 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires no foreign equipment be placed inside an elevator hoistway which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 5 days of the publication of this notice with Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2024-030).
