    The Florida Department of Transportation, District Two announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.
    DATE AND TIME: March 7, 2013, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
    PLACE: Hermits Cove Community Club, 200 Hermit Drive, Satsuma, FL 32189.
    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This hearing is being held to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of Financial Project ID: 210028-3, otherwise known as SR 15 (US 17). The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to attend a Subsequent Public Hearing to discuss proposed improvements to SR 15 (US 17) from South of CR 309 in Satsuma to West of Dunn’s Creek Bridge in Putnam County, Florida. A previous public hearing was held on this project in June 2006. Since that time the Department has revisited the recommendation and is proposing the following changes. The proposed improvements recommend widening the existing two lane roadway to a four lane divided roadway with a raised 22 foot grassed median, curb and gutter, bicycle lanes, a sidewalk on the Westside of the roadway, a 12 foot multi-use path on the eastside and stormwater ponds. The Department is also recommending safety improvements on County Road 309. The proposed improvements will require right of way. As of February 14, 2013, project documents are available for your review during normal business hours at the Pomona Park Town Hall, 1775 S. Highway 17, Pomona Park, FL 32181 and the Florida Department of Transportation’s District Office, 1109 S. Marion Avenue, Lake City, FL 32025.
