NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Health has received the petition for declaratory statement from John Rutherford, Sheriff of Duval County. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 401. 465(2)(b), Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

The petitioner seeks an interpretation of the term “direct supervision” in Section 401.465(2)(b), Florida Statutes, as the term applies to a Public Safety Telecommunicator trainee.
