NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Department of Community Affairs has received the petition for declaratory statement from Expert Shutter Services, Inc., Michael Heissenberg. The Petition, DCA10-DEC-270, was received on December 10, 2010. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 9B-72, F.A.C., as it applies to the petitioner.
Petitioner seeks clarification of the scope of Rule 9N-3.001, F.A.C., as it applies to Petitioner’s products. Petitioner asks that its products not be designated as “shutters” and that a new category be created for them, and that the Commission then reconsider the Petitioner’s existing product approval and approve the products for use in the HVHZ.
