    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Mid-Florida Heating And Air, Inc. on March 11, 2009. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:
    The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 35, No. 19, of the May 14, 2009, Florida Administrative Weekly. The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on June 12, 2009. The petition requested the Board’s interpretation of Rule 61G4-15.012, Florida Administrative Code, and whether Petitioner may install solar water heating systems with a certified Class A air conditioning contractor license. The Board’s Order, filed on September 4, 2009 answers the Petition for Declaratory Statement. Mechanical and air conditioning contractors are not permitted to install solar water heating systems pursuant to Section 489.105, Florida Statutes.
