    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection Clean Boating Partnership announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: February 25, 2014, 9:00 a.m. 12:00 Noon

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Clean and Resilient Marina / Clean Vessel Act Grant Program workshop for new and existing marine and freshwater marinas, boatyards, and retailers. Participants can learn about marina safety measures, permitting, regulations, and best management practices to prepare for an emergency. Participants can also learn how to qualify for designation as a clean facility and how to apply for grant funding to install and operate a pumpout at their facility.
