The Board of Psychology hereby gives notice: Janina Brodsky Brandt, Psy.D., filed a Petition for Waiver on June 26, 2014, which was published on July 9, 2014, in Vol. 40, No. 132, of the Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver of Rule 64B19-11.005, F.A.C., which requires that “all applicants for licensure must complete at least 2,000 hours of post-doctoral experience under a supervisor whose supervision comports with subsection (3) of this rule.”

The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on July 25, 2014, in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Board’s Order, filed August 20, 2014, affirmed the Petition finding that same demonstrates that the purpose of the underlying statute has been or will be achieved and that application of the rule imposes a substantial hardship or violates principles of fairness.
