PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Project Description: Construction of a new Infirmary Addition at Union Correctional Institution, Raiford, Florida
The Florida Department of Corrections is requesting qualifications from Construction Management Firms to provide services for demolition of the existing Medical Building, and construction of a new Infirmary addition at Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, Florida. The construction budget, for the Union project, is estimated to be $2,700,000. Funding is available through the Department’s FY 15/16 annual appropriation to complete the design, permitting, and construction. The selected Construction Manager will be responsible for completion of demolition, and construction, following an accelerated schedule. Applicant must be a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida at the time of application. Further, as a corporation, the Applicant must be registered by the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, to operate in the State of Florida at the time of application. The selection will be made in accordance with Chapter 60D-5, Florida Administrative Code, the Request for Qualification procedures, and criteria which may be obtained from John Melton, Bureau of Support Services, Office of Administration, 501 South Calhoun Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2500, (850) 717-3679. To be considered, interested Firms must submit an application in accordance with the Request for Qualifications by March 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time (ET). Faxed submissions are not acceptable.
