    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Board of Physical Therapy Practice has received the petition for declaratory statement from Karen Rhoads, PT, MPT, filed on January 30, 2020.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Rule 64B17-6.001 as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner seeks a determination from the Board regarding the scope of practice for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to write and sign a discharge note and/or a letter of medical necessity for medical equipment and have the letter co-signed by the supervising licensed Physical Therapist, as it pertains to statute. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
