NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal (Department) has received the petition for declaratory statement from Largo Fire Rescue (Petitioner) on February 4, 2016. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of 633.202, F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

The Petition seeks the Department’s opinion as to whether Pinellas County Building Department is authorized to enforce Chapter 633, and the Florida Fire Prevention Code under section 633.202, F.S., within the unincorporated area of the Largo Fire District?
