The Board of Nursing Home Administrators hereby gives notice: that on August 27, 2019, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Petition was filed by Debra Ann Luther, on April 15, 2019, seeking a variance or waiver of Rules 64B10-15-001, 15.002, 15.0021, and 16.005, F.A.C., with regards to the requirements for continuing education for licensure renewal.

The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published in Vol. 45, No. 77, on April 19, 2019, in the Florida Administrative Register. The Board, at its meeting held on August 8, 2019, voted to deny the Petition for Variance or Waiver finding that Petitioner failed to demonstrate a substantial hardship; failed to demonstrate that application of the rule would violate the principles of fairness; failed to demonstrate and that the purpose of the underlying statute has been met.
