Draft 2019 FDOT Regional Mitigation Plan
The Northwest Florida Water Management District (District) has developed a draft Regional Mitigation Plan in support of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to identify mitigation for road projects with unavoidable wetland impacts. The District provides mitigation options in accordance with section 373.4137, Florida Statutes, only where use of private mitigation banks is deemed not feasible by State and Federal permitting agencies. The draft Regional Mitigation Plan may be accessed at https://www.nwfwater.com/Water-Resources/Regional-Wetland-Mitigation-Program/Umbrella-Plan. For the 2019 update, comments are requested no later than February 22, 2019. For future updates, comments may be submitted at any time.
