PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To establish a uniform grading scale to measure the ability of a home to withstand the wind load from a sustained severe tropical storm or hurricane.SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Development of a grading scale through consultation with the Department of Financial Services and the Department of Community Affairs and based on and consistent with the rating system required by Chapter 2006-12, Laws of Florida.
