GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four will be hosting an Elected Officials/Agency Kick-off Meeting and a Public Kick-off Meeting for State Road (SR) 5/US-1 Federal Highway Bridge from CR-A1A to Beach Road Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The Elected Officials/Agency Kick-off Meeting will be from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 3:00 p.m. The Public Kick-off Meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. The Kick-off Meetings are being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the Study. The primary purpose of this PD&E Study is to evaluate bridge replacement alternatives, which will resolve the structurally deficient conditions of the existing bridge and enhance multimodal mobility.
