Sealed bids will be received by Duval County Public Schools, Division of Facilities, Room 535, 1701 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207 until the time and date(s) recorded below and immediately thereafter publicly opened and recorded in the Duval County Public Schools, School Board Building, located at 1701 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, Florida, 5th Floor, Room 538. BIDS ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE April 11, 2019 AND WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 2 PM. OFFICIAL PROJECT TITLE: Districtwide Roof Replacement at Various Schools: Dinsmore Elementary School No. 45, Duncan U. Fletcher High School No. 223 and Ft. Caroline Elementary School No. 235. DCSB Project No. M-83800, MT-ITB-004-19. SCOPE OF WORK: The project consists of recovering existing modified roofs with single ply TPO for Dinsmore Elementary School No. 45; recapping existing modified roofs at Duncan U. Fletcher High School No. 223 and recover existing modified roofs with single ply TPO at Ft. Caroline Elementary School No. 235. The estimated construction cost is not to exceed $700,038. All contractors that are interested in bidding are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held April 1, 2019, 9:30 a.m. at 129 King Street, Room 37, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Failure to attend the pre-bid conference shall result in disqualification of that firm’s proposal. Attendees must be on time and will be required to sign an attendance register. Project funding is subject to availability of funds as authorized by the Owner. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
