INVITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by JAXPORT until 2:00 P.M. (EST), WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26, 2014, at which time they shall be opened in the Public Meeting Room of the Port Central Office Building, 2831 Talleyrand Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida, to REPLACE SECURITY BOOTHS AND GATE ARMS.
All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. C-1454, which may be examined in, or obtained from the Procurement Department of JAXPORT, located on the second floor of the Port Central Office Building, 2831 Talleyrand Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 2014, AT 11:30 A.M. (EST), AT THE BLOUNT ISLAND MARINE TERMINAL ACCESS CONTROL BUILDING, 2ND FLOOR, 9620 DAVE RAWLS BLVD., JACKSONVILLE, FL 32226

The mandatory Small Emerging Business Participation Goal established for this project is 100% for certified JSEB/ MBE/ DBE/ WBE/ SBE companies.
ATTENDANCE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH PROSPECTIVE BIDDER IS REQUIRED. A BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM ANY BIDDER WHO IS NOT REPRESENTED AT SUCH CONFERENCE.
