NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Financial Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Speedy Green, LLC on March 9, 2016. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Sections 516.16 and 516.26, Florida Statutes, as they apply to the petitioner.

The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner’s proposed business activities (of providing small loans to employees of companies who wish to provide their employees access to credit through SG’s services) fall within Florida’s Consumer Finance statute Chapter 516, Florida Statutes.
