The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the CCUA’s proposed project to construct a new 1.5 MGD treatment plant on the site of the current Mid-Clay wastewater treatment facility is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $19,809,096. This project may qualify for Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loans comprised of federal or state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed projects that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
