NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 3, 2020, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Escambia County Judicial Center dba MC Blanchard Judicial Center at 190 Government St, Pensacola, FL. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.11.3, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators with firefighters’ emergency operations which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
