NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Sandy Robinson and Kevin Powell on December 18, 2014. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 40, No. 247, of the December 23, 2014, Florida Administrative Register. The petition seeks a declaratory statement regarding whether a Registered Specialty Contractor (aluminum) can be the primary contractor on a building permit for a screened room and wooden decks, and whether the Registered Specialty Contractor can build the wood decks. The Board’s Order, filed on March 6, 2015, declines to issue a declaratory statement because the Petitioner has not established standing and the subject of the petition is a determination to be made by the county in which the work is to be preformed.
