GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Department will hold a rule adoption hearing pursuant to subsection 120.54(3), F.S., to hear public testimony and to explain the proposed amendments to the above-cited rules, and respond to questions or comments regarding the amendments. The Notice of Proposed Rule for this rulemaking was published on December 13, 2018, in Vol. 44/241, of the Florida Administrative Register. A Notice of Correction for this rulemaking was published on December 14, 2018, in Vol. 44/242, of the Florida Administrative Register. The Notice of Correction corrected the Statement of Estimated Regulatory Cost and Legislative Ratification information. The proposed amendments will address the requirements that applicants seeking a Joint Coastal Permit will need to provide information that, for activities to be conducted that are associated with an inlet, including management activities, demonstrates that the proposed project or activity will comply with the requirements of Section 161.142, Florida Statutes.
