The Board of Massage Therapy hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on January 9, 2014, by Kai Myrbakk. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 40, No. 24, of the February 5, 2014 Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of Rule 64B7-32.003, F.A.C. The Petitioner seeks the waiver of 36.5 hours of Clinical Practicum and 15 hours of Theory of Hydrotherapy requirements based on Petitioner's experience, education and training. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on February 27, 2014, in Tallahassee, Florida.
The Board’s Order, filed on March 6, 2014, dismissed the petition as moot because the Board approved the Petitioner's application for licensure.
