NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 28, 2019, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for variance or waiver pursuant to Section 120.542, F.S, from Petitioner, Tides Beach Club Condominium Association, Inc. The Petitioner requested a permanent variance from subparagraphs 62B-33.0051(1)(a)1., 2., and 3, F.A.C., which requires that in order to qualify for a permit for coastal armoring, the structure proposed to be protected must be an eligible structure, the structure to be protected must be vulnerable, and the gap between a line of rigid coastal armoring that is continuous on both sides of the unarmored property does not exceed 250 feet. The facility is located between 16450 through and including 16750 Gulf Boulevard, North Reddington Beach, Florida 33708. The petition has been assigned OGC No. 19-0182 and File No. CNS-PI-102.
