PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To create a standard monitoring tool, pursuant to House Bill 443 (2023), that sponsors would use when monitoring charter schools. Additionally, changes will be considered to the Florida Standard Charter Contract and the Florida Standard Charter Renewal Contract as it relates to the termination of a charter, pursuant to changes made in Senate Bill 758 (2022). Other updates to the standard charter contract and the standard charter renewal contract, as they pertain to best practices, may be considered.
