GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: DOCKET NO. 080501-EI – Petition for waiver of subsection 25-17.250(1) and paragraph (2)(a), F.A.C., which requires Progress Energy Florida to have a standard offer contract open until a request for proposal is issued for same avoided unit in standard contract offer, and for approval of standard offer contract.

The purpose of the hearing is to receive testimony and exhibits relative to issues and subjects identified by the parties at the prehearing conference held on April 6, 2009. All witness shall be subject to cross-examination at the conclusion of their testimony.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of this prehearing conference is: (1) to define and limit if possible, the number of issues; (2) to determine the parties’ positions on the issues; (3) to determine what facts, if any, may be stipulated; (4) to dispose of any motions or other matters that may be pending; and (5) to consider any other matters that may aid in the disposition of this case.
