REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS # 19-003
Airport Interior and Exterior Painting Services
The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (“the Authority” or “GACRAA” or “Owner”) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing interior and exterior painting services. The Proposer (or “Contractor”) must provide all labor, paint, various materials, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to complete the services listed throughout this RFP, including, but not limited to: surface cleaning and preparation including minor sheetrock repair, spackling, filling divots and holes, sanding, priming and painting. The proposer shall submit pricing as shown in the RFP, which shall be applied on a per square foot basis for interior sheetrock wall preparation and painting, a per square foot basis for exterior metal building preparation and painting and on an hourly basis for specialty painting of machinery, fixtures and other assorted jobs.
The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted in response to this Request for any reason. Interested parties are advised that lobbying of Evaluation Committee members, Airport Authority members and Airport Authority employees, regarding Requests for Proposal (RFQ), Bids or Contracts is strictly prohibited from the point of advertisement until a final award is made or protest is resolved.

A mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting and site visit for all proposers is scheduled for March 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the GACRAA Administration Office, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, FL 32609. The purpose of the pre-proposal meeting will be to discuss any questions interested Proposers may have regarding the RFP. Interested Proposers are REQUIRED to attend this meeting.
Deadline for inquiries is 5:00 p.m., March 28, 2019. All parties shall address questions regarding this RFP for interpretation to Ms. Lynn Noffsinger, Airport Contracts and Grants Administrator. Questions must be written and sent via email to lynn.noffsinger@flygainesville.com
Deadline for submittals is 4:00 p.m., April 12, 2019. Proposals received after this time will be not be considered. All parties interested in providing these services should cause to be delivered to the Authority’s administrative offices, two originals, clearly marked “ORIGINAL” and two (2) copies of the completed Proposals Package to: Allan J. Submittals shall be in a sealed envelope clearly labeled:
