NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 10, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Sand Dollar III located in St. Augustine, FL. Petitioner seeks a permanent variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Sections 211.3, 211.4, 211.5, 211.6, 211.7, 211.8, 1998 edition as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), F.A.C., that requires upgrading the elevators operations which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
